Saliya (Kostja Ullmann) is about to complete his studies and only has to do an internship when disaster strikes: he suddenly becomes almost blind. Nevertheless, he manages to secure an internship position in a luxury hotel in Munich - without anyone noticing his visual impairment. Only his colleague Max (Jacob Matschenz) sees through him, but decides to help him. Outside working hours, they practice endlessly until Saliya can do his job blind. But that you can't train everything becomes apparent when he falls for Laura (Anna Maria Mühe) and finds himself in all sorts of unpredictable situations.
