AOC: Copper and fiber optics for long distances and the best video and audio quality
The AOC (Active Optical Cable) cable consists of copper and fiber optics for the transmission of 4K@60Hz over long distances up to 100m without data loss. The bandwidth is 18Gbps 4:4:4. The fiber optics in the cable are protected with Kevlar and have an aluminum shield. This makes it ideal for sensitive applications thanks to low RFI/EMI. The cable is supplied on reels.
Resolution of 4K @ 60Hz
The HDMI 4K cable supports a resolution of 3840x2160 @ 60Hz. This resolution is compatible with: HDMI 2.0, HDMI 1.4a, HDMI 1.4, HDMI 1.3a and HDMI 1.3. In addition, the cable supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) video for a high contrast ratio and color accuracy, HDCP 2.2, EDID, DDC, CEC, multi-channel audio, Dolby True HD, DTS-HD Master Audio and ARC.
The ultra-thin, flexible cable with detachable connector allows for easy installation
The flexible cable is ultra-thin, allowing it to be easily pulled through shafts and ducts. Remove the detachable connector from the cable and place the cable protector with pull ring on the cable end. Pull the cable easily through the conduit. Then remove the cable protector and reattach the detachable connector to the cable.
Optional: Connect an external power supply
The AOC cable comes with a USB power cable for the optional connection of an external 5V power source. This is only necessary if the HDMI port of the source device does not supply enough power.
Additional features
It is important that the cable is connected correctly. Therefore, the connectors of the ACT AOC HDMI cable are marked, making it easy to see which connector should be connected to the source device or the display.
