90° X 90° SILICON COMPOSITE HYBRID TRACTRIX HORN

Tractrix® geometry ensures the most efficient transmission of high-frequency waves to the listening area. The phase plug and contoured silicon surface ensure smooth frequency response. This combination creates the purest, most natural sound possible. The second generation horns have a larger size which creates a larger soundstage and improved directivity.

ALL-NEW CERAMETALLIC WOOFERS

The dual 5.25 Cerametallic™ woofers are a signature feature of the Reference Premiere series speakers. Klipsch has redesigned them for absolutely pristine sound reproduction, minimal distortion and maximum efficiency. The redesigned woofer delivers the power, detail and emotion you expect from a Klipsch Reference Premiere speaker.

LINEAR TRAVEL SUSPENSION (LTS) TITANIUM DIAPHRAGM TWEETER

The exclusive Linear Travel Suspension keeps distortion to a minimum which improves sound quality. The LTS tweeters are the key feature of the earlier Reference lines, making it a core component of one of the best speakers in the world.

VENTED TWEETER DESIGN.

The tweeter enclosure reduces waves that cause unwanted harmonics. This results in more detailed and clear high-frequency reproduction.

TRACTRIX PORTS

Using Tractrix geometry, the Reference Premiere ports provide the most efficient, fastest air transfer from the cabinet. The Klipsch Tractrix ports have specially designed protrusions inside, which help reduce the air turbulence entering through the port. Because less turbulent air, makes for cleaner and more powerful bass.

BI-WIRING / BI-AMPING CAPABILITY

There are dual input connections for bi-wiring / bi-amping capability. When bi-wiring, the high and low frequencies are separated in separate speaker cables, reducing distortion and making the mids clearer. When using separate amplifiers, bi-amping allows for adjustments using external crossovers.

With audiophile-grade wire. The input panel has accessible aluminum terminals for any type of connection.

FURNITURE-QUALITY MATERIALS AND FINISHES.
