The photo-electric sensor reacts quickly to smoke, especially in slow-smoldering fires. The alarm has a sound level of 85 dB(A). That's loud enough to wake you through closed doors and even during your sleep. As soon as the smoke has disappeared, the alarm stops automatically.

Easy testing and temporary silence
