Preparation

Before using the electric treadmill, it is important to stand still and become familiar with the controls, such as starting, stopping and adjusting speed. Once you feel confident, place your feet on the non-slip plates on both sides of the treadmill. Set the speed to a low setting of 1.6 to 3.2 km/h and stay upright while looking ahead. Carefully step on the treadmill with one foot a few times before stepping up fully and starting to move. When you feel comfortable, gradually increase the speed to 3-5 km/h. Maintain this pace for about 2-5 minutes and slowly reduce or increase the speed.
