The Ranger RC 2K+ indoor camera ensures that every corner of a room is covered thanks to its pan and tilt function; 355 degrees rotation and 80 degrees tilt. Enjoy detailed images thanks to the 2K+ video resolution. The Ranger RC is easy to install by downloading the Imou Life app and following the step-by-step guide. Furthermore, this security camera accurately detects people and the Ranger RC has a built-in siren. Additionally, there is a one-touch call button. When this physical button is pressed, shared users are immediately notified and a video call can take place. Extremely practical for, for example, children and the elderly when help is needed.
Image Quality
The 2K+, or 4 megapixel, resolution shows razor-sharp images of high quality. The H.265 video compression technology simultaneously ensures that high-quality recordings and streams take up relatively little space and thus require less bandwidth. This allows the available storage space and bandwidth to be used optimally. In the evening, the Ranger RC activates night vision based on infrared, making everything clearly visible in black and white tones.
Pan & Tilt
The housing of the Imou Ranger RC surveillance camera is motorized for panning and tilting. This ensures that no corner of a room remains uncovered. The camera can be controlled remotely in the Imou Life app. Furthermore, upon detection, the camera will automatically follow movements by panning (355 degrees horizontally) and tilting (80 degrees vertically).
One-touch Call
Below the camera lens is a button that can be used to make an immediate notification. Shared users of the device will then receive a real-time notification. The person who answers the notification can observe the situation and initiate a conversation via the built-in speaker and microphone. This function is suitable for, for example, the elderly who live independently or children who are home alone for a while. By pressing this button, help can be summoned immediately.
Installation
Download the Imou Life app (iOS, Android, or Windows) and create an Imou account. After logging in, select the "+" sign in the top right of the Imou app to add a camera. Scan the QR code on the camera and follow the steps in the app. Then select the Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz) and ensure the camera is close to the router during installation. The camera will be ready for use in no time. For recording footage, you can opt for the Imou Cloud service, but also for local storage using a MicroSD card or an Imou NVR.

- Notification Schedule: Set which days and times of the week the camera sends notifications.
