The innovative Inventum built-in induction hob IKI8045 features 5 cooking zones, each with 15 settings. The cooking zones on the left can be combined into 1 large flex zone. On the flex zone, you can use a large grill pan or roasting pan, or multiple pans consecutively. Each cooking zone also has a boost function for extra rapid heating. The hob is easy to operate with 1 slider per cooking zone. Additionally, this hob is equipped with residual heat indication, cooking duration limitation, automatic pan recognition, pause function, and child lock. Because the induction hob has power management, you can choose whether to connect it to 1 or 2 phases. Cleaning the glass ceramic surface is quick and easy with a damp cloth.
Boost function
The boost function on the hob provides extra power to a cooking zone temporarily. Handy if you want to bring something to a boil quickly. After a certain time, the boost automatically switches back to the previously set power level.
Alarm clock and timer
The hob is equipped with 1 timer per cooking zone. When the set time has elapsed, the cooking zone switches off automatically.
Power management for 1 or 2 phases
Power management automatically distributes the available power of the hob across the cooking zones you are using. This allows you to choose whether to connect this induction hob to 1 or 2 phases. If you choose 1 phase, you can use a standard socket (plug & play). No adjustments to the fuse box are necessary.
Slimline: takes up less space
This induction hob is less deep and therefore requires less ventilation space. This makes this slimline hob easy to install in an existing or new kitchen and leaves more space in the cabinet below.
Extra safety
Automatic pan recognition: If you remove a pan from a cooking zone, it switches off automatically after a short time.
Residual heat indication: If a cooking zone is still too hot to touch, you will see an 'H' displayed.
Cooking duration limitation: A cooking zone switches off automatically if it has been on for a long time without the power being adjusted.
Child lock: In this mode, the induction hob is locked, and you cannot accidentally switch it on.
Pause function: This allows you to pause the entire hob for a short period.
