HERO sensor
HERO is a new, revolutionary optical sensor designed by Logitech G that delivers the best performance and is up to 10 times more energy-efficient (compared to the previous generation). The HERO sensor delivers exceptionally accurate and consistent performance, without any lag, filtering, or acceleration, from 200 to 12,000 dpi. G305 can store up to 5 profiles in its built-in memory, with up to 5 dpi levels each.

In Endurance mode, this equals 9 months of use. This can be selected via the Logitech Gaming Software. Logitech Gaming Software and the status light on the G305 will let you know when the battery has 15% capacity left.

6 programmable buttons
The primary switches of the G305, both left and right, are rated for 10 million clicks. Additionally, the G305 features a middle click, dpi button, and two side buttons that can be programmed as desired using Logitech Gaming Software (LGS).

Mechanical button tensioning system
Mechanical springs with separate buttons improve the consistency of the left and right mouse buttons and reduce the force required to click. This results in crisp, reliable buttons that you can rely on even during the most intense gaming sessions.
