This mini 16-bit system launches on September 29th with 21 games, including the never-before-released Star Fox 2. On September 29th, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo's successor to the legendary Nintendo Entertainment System, will be released in a new, smaller form as the Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The Super Nintendo was released in Europe in 1992, and many of its games are often cited in lists of the best games of all time – including classics like Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Mario Kart, Super Metroid, and F-Zero. The Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System includes 21 pre-installed classic games and can be easily connected to any HD TV with the included HDMI cable. For the first time, owners of the system can enjoy the science fiction adventure Star Fox 2, the sequel to the original Star Fox game (which was released in Europe under the name Star Wing). This game was created during the Super Nintendo era but was never released… anywhere!
