The Primary series has won several awards and now uses a completely revised motor for even purer sound. No more 9-volt power supply, but a motor that runs directly on 230 volts. Without the external power supply and the necessary processing, the new Primary E Phono offers low distortion and extremely stable sound. Through technical excellence without too many frills, the Pro-Ject Primary E Phono is designed with the best sound quality in its price class.

A clever tone arm design combines pure sound quality with easy installation. The so-called Plug&Play design with preset tracking force and anti-skating is extremely efficient for use. The lightweight and low-friction aluminium tonearm is optimised for the included Ortofon OM cartridge and brings out its maximum potential. In addition, this turntable features vibration-absorbing feet, enabling it to deliver the best possible sound.
The Primary E Phono is equipped with a switchable phono/line output, so it can be used with a dedicated external phono preamp or with the integrated phono preamp connected to a line input. Through intelligent construction and with its phono option, the Primary E Phono is the perfect entry-level model and all this handmade at a low price.
