9H tempered glass

The screen protector is made of 9H tempered glass, which means the screen protector is highly resistant to scratches. The hardness of the glass of a screen protector is indicated by a value from 1 to 10. For comparison: A diamond has a hardness of 10 and a phone screen has a hardness between 5 and 6. The letter indicates the hardness of a pencil and is tested based on scratches made by the hardest pencil on the glass. Pencils with a hardness ranging from 6B (softest) to 9H (hardest) are used. During testing, a pencil is pressed against the screen protector at a 45-degree angle. If no scratches or damage occur with a 9H pencil, the screen protector receives a 9H rating.
