Derek Cho (Steven Yeun) works as a lawyer at a successful law firm. He is about to be fired when suddenly a life-threatening virus breaks out in the building. The government immediately intervenes and shuts down the entire building to protect the outside world. Panic strikes among the employees who are now locked together. Derek, along with Melanie (Samara Weaving), a disgruntled client, decides to make a bloody way to the top floor to confront his corrupt employers with dire consequences.
