Effectively detects leaks

The Tapo T300 is a handy little tool to prevent unplanned and annoying water leaks in your home. This device has small dimensions (8.4 x 4.6 x 3 cm) and a wireless design to be placed anywhere. This allows you to detect leaks quickly and effectively: place the water sensor under the sink, on your bathtub or shower, or put it in the basement before disaster strikes. It is equipped with 6 detection probes and a 90 dB siren to notify you loud and clear. In addition, it is IP67 dust and water resistant so it can even be placed in damp areas. Furthermore, the sensor runs on LR3 (AAA) batteries that ensure a long service life.

Quick installation, smooth operation

Setting up the sensor is a snap: insert the AAA batteries and first of all test that the alarm does go off. Then download the Tapo app on your mobile device, available for iOS & Android, and follow the on-screen instructions. Make sure you have the separately available Tapo Smart hub , as it is required. After that, all you have to do in the app is select the right device and you can place it in an ambient space of your choice. The app is a handy tool for monitoring everything: it sends you real-time app notifications when it detects a leak somewhere, and keeps track of everything in an event log. On top of that, if you connect it to a smart-home system, you can pair the sensor with smart-lights and add a touch of visual security toin your home.
