It's 1985, but not for long. Because teenager Marty McFly is about to travel back to 1955 aboard the plutonium-powered DeLorean, an invention of eccentric genius Doc Emmett Brown. But when Marty accidentally causes his future parents to fail to fall in love with each other, a time-shattering chain reaction is set in motion that will cause his future to vanish into thin air and leave him stuck in the past forever! Marty's only hope is to change the course of history before time runs out and his only chance to return to the future is gone!

Marty and Doc have barely recovered from their first time travel adventure, when they find themselves once again in the space -time continuum. This time, however, they attempt to adjust the future in the year 2015. As a result, however, Hill Valley in 1985 appears to have turned into an almost unrecognizable, bizarre town, where bully Biff Tannen is rich and powerful and.....Marty's father! Now they can only correct the present by going back to 1955 again. But can Doc and Marty restore the past without creating a time paradox that rips the universe to shreds?

For Doc Brown, a boyhood dream comes true when he goes to live in the wild west of the 1980s. But when he meets a premature end there, Marty travels back in time to save him. There's just one problem: Doc is madly in love with schoolteacher Clara Clayton and doesn't have his head on straight. So it's up to Marty to keep Doc out of trouble, get the DeLorean going and get past, present and future back on track so everyone gets back to the place and time where they belong!
