Speed and performance in practice

The read speed of 1120 Mbps (140 MB/s) and write speed of 400 Mbps (50 MB/s) make this USB stick suitable for quickly transferring documents, photos, videos, and other files.

Note: Mbps (megabits per second) is slightly different from MB/s (megabytes per second). 1 MB/s = 8 Mbps.

The actual speed depends on:

• the size and type of files

• the connected device

• the formatting of the stick

This is normal behavior for any storage device.

Storage capacity and formatting

The Xedor Base has a physical storage capacity of 1 TB. The usable space is slightly lower due to formatting data. This is standard for all USB sticks and hard drives.

The stick is formatted in ExFAT, suitable for:

• Windows

• macOS

• Android

• iOS (from iPhone 15)

If you only use the stick on Windows, you can optionally format it to NTFS.
