Instant Pot® sealing rings are UL, FDA, and LFGB tested and approved for safety, including food safety. To ensure your Instant Pot® multicooker continues to perform as intended, use only authentic Instant Pot® sealing rings with your Instant Pot® multicooker. It is recommended to replace your Instant Pot® sealing ring every 12–18 months. As the sealing ring is porous and can absorb odors and discoloration, consider replacing it every 6–12 months to prevent discoloration and odors.
