For a small volume item that was delivered by post, you should go to the after-sales service of your nearest MediaMarkt store. Our staff will check the device and send it to a repair service or replace it.
For a large volume item that was delivered by our transport service, please contact us via the contact page of our website. Our staff will then put you in touch with the manufacturer for an inspection and repair at your home.
Have you purchased a large volume item and it is not functioning properly?
You can request an intervention at MediaMarkt, either through the store or via our customer service. Our staff will open a case with the brand's authorized repair technician for you.
If you purchased a product at one of our local stores and want to know the status of your repair, please contact the relevant store directly.
If you bought a small volume product (delivered by bpost) from our online store and submitted it for repair at the after-sales service of a local store, please contact that local store directly.

The MediaMarkt Smartbar repairs all screens of the most common brands of smartphones, tablets, and computer monitors. Damage that we can repair includes:
- a broken or cracked screen
- a defective home button
- a defective camera
- battery issues
We cannot repair water damage or a bent screen. You can request a complete overview of all repair possibilities at the Smartbar of your local MediaMarkt store.
Depending on the damage and the type of device, it usually takes about an hour for the repair to be completed. Repairs of a laptop screen can take up to 3 working days, provided we have the parts in stock, as we need to order the new screen.
There is no standard price for repairs. Therefore, please contact the after-sales service for an estimate. They will then forward the device to the Smartbar or to an authorized repair service.
