Limburg is gaining a new place where technology comes to life: today, MediaMarkt is opening the doors of its brand-new store at Hasseltweg 197 in Genk. With a surface area of 1,800 m², it is immediately the largest MediaMarkt in the province. The store is located on a vibrant commercial axis between Hasselt and Genk, where supermarkets and home and kitchen stores reinforce one another. Thanks to the easy connection with the E313 and E314, the ample parking and being open seven days a week, MediaMarkt Genk will quickly become a regular stop for everyone with a passion for technology.
Large in floor space, even larger in experience
The new branch has been set up according to the modernised Core concept, MediaMarkt’s store model that focuses on comfort, clarity and experience. Visitors enter a bright, open retail space where all categories come together: from multimedia and household appliances to smartphones, gaming and entertainment.
In addition to the wide range, the store strongly emphasises service and personal advice. The Smartbar helps customers with data transfer, screen protection and repairs, and for those who want it there are calibrations, extended warranties, insurance options, financing solutions and premium installations at home.
