A new MediaMarkt opens its doors in Châtelineau

Good news for tech enthusiasts in the Châtelineau region: MediaMarkt opens a brand new store there today. As of today, visitors can find everything from smartphones and laptops to gaming, TVs and home appliances. The new store covers approximately 1,400 m ² and will become the 31st MediaMarkt store in Belgium.

Very good accessibility

With this opening in Châtelineau, MediaMarkt further expands its shopping network. The new store is easily accessible from the Route de la Basse-Sambre (N90) and also via the R3. The shop is located at rue du Trieu Kaisin 71, 6200 Châtelineau (Shopping Cora), and has free parking.

The location is also easily accessible by public transport, including bus lines 25 and 35 from Charleroi-Central station, with a stop "Cora" just before the shopping center. A new metro line will be constructed in 2027, further facilitating access to the shopping center. The residents of Namur, Gerpinnes, Sambreville and Fleurus will finally benefit from a shop nearby.

In the new store, visitors have plenty of space to experience the latest technology. In addition to the wide range, customers can compare products, try them out and ask for advice when they need it.

Various services also find their place there. Customers can receive purchase help, repairs and other technical services. MediaMarkt wants to make the new store accessible to both real technology enthusiasts and those who just need a hand in choosing the right device.

MediaMarkt celebrates the opening with exclusive offers, a Dyson Styling Tour experience, demonstrations and tastings of all kinds, as well as gifts for young and old. Visitors can discover the new store from September 4, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
