Looking for the newest iPads? On this page, you’ll discover everything about Apple’s most recent models: the iPad, iPad mini, iPad Pro and iPad Air. And yes, you’ll also get an answer to the question: is Apple releasing new iPads in 2025?

The latest iPad

Four iPads are displayed in a row against a white backdrop, each in a different color: blue, pink, yellow, and white. The Apple logo is visible on each device.

The most recent iPad is the Apple iPad (2025). This edition received a solid upgrade compared to its predecessor, the Apple iPad (2022). The iPad (2025) runs on the powerful A16 chip, making everything faster and smoother. You can multitask effortlessly, take notes or even edit 4K videos. And you can do so all day long, thanks to the strong battery. Storage capacity has also improved. Where you used to choose between 64 and 256 GB, you now also have 128 and 512 GB options. Of course, familiar strengths remain: the razor-sharp 11-inch Liquid Retina display, the 12 MP wide-angle camera, the USB‑C port and compatibility with Apple’s renowned keyboard, the Magic Keyboard. In many respects, this iPad is very similar to the Air, but there are still important differences between the iPad and the iPad Air.

The most recent iPad Air

Two grey iPads are displayed against a white background, showing the front screen with a silver and purple design.

Since its introduction in 2013, the iPad Air has combined the best of all other iPad models: the light and compact nature of the mini, the versatility of the standard iPad and the power of the iPad Pro. The latest iPad Air M3 (2025) is no exception. With the fast M3 chip you’ll enjoy smooth performance and access to Apple Intelligence*. The 11- or 13-inch Retina display looks razor-sharp and works seamlessly with the updated Magic Keyboard and multiple generations of the Apple Pencil. The iPad Air (2025) is excellent for students, professionals and anyone who is often on the go. It’s no coincidence that people often compare the iPad Air and the iPad Pro.

* From April 2025, Apple Intelligence is available in English in Belgium. It is not yet known when the Dutch-language version will be released.

The latest iPad mini

Two gray iPads are displayed on a white background. The screens show blue, green and purple graphics.

The iPad mini (2024) is the smallest, but certainly not the least. With its compact 8.3-inch size, you can take it anywhere. This latest variant of the iPad mini is ideal for use on the go: read a book on the plane or beat your own gaming record on the train. Despite its size, this 7th-generation iPad mini has a powerful A17 Pro chip, even newer than that of the iPad (2025). Thanks to that processing power, this Apple tablet is also popular with (amateur) photographers: you can take razor-sharp photos and videos with it.

The most recent iPad Pro

Two iPads, one white and one purple, stand side-by-side. Each has a camera module in the upper left corner. The background is plain.

Since 2015, the iPad Pro has been the best choice for those who expect top performance: creatives, designers, gamers and professionals. The latest Apple iPad Pro (2024) takes everything to the next level. This powerhouse has an M4 chip, comes in 11 or 13 inches, and is available in Space Black or Silver. The cameras? 12 MP on the back and a TrueDepth camera on the front, perfect for selfies and Face ID. You can even capture 4K videos in ProRes quality. Also noteworthy are the Ultra Retina XDR display and the option of up to 2 TB of storage. New is a version equipped with a display featuring a nano-texture coating that reduces annoying reflections.

Our advice: which iPad suits you?
