When the inhabitants of Hyrule are swallowed up by strange cracks that appear all over the realm, it's Princess Zelda's job to save her kingdom. Fortunately, Zelda is not alone. With the help of the ethereal being Tri, she learns to use the power of Tri's staff to create echoes. These echoes are imitations of things found in the environment, and come in handy for solving puzzles and defeating enemies. Players can even create echoes of monsters to make them fight on their side, or combine echoes to solve problems in creative ways.
During her mission to save the kingdom, Zelda encounters residents of Hyrule who face a variety of problems. Solving those problems is part of the adventure, with a handy blog making it easier to keep track of the many missions. To move around the realm faster, Zelda can use the teleportation points scattered around the world and selectable on the map. In addition, Zelda can make use of her trusty horse that can jump over small obstacles and even gallop through weaker enemies.
During their journey through Hyrule, players can visit smoothie stalls run by Deku shopkeepers, who can blend collected ingredients into delicious drinks. These smoothies have different effects, such as restoring health, that depend on the ingredients. Zelda can also wear different outfits and accessories to enhance her skills, or just give herself a new look.
In addition to making echoes, Zelda's ally Tri can also help her with the special power called Linking, which allows objects to follow Zelda's movements. This allows her to dig up treasures or move troublesome enemies, for example. This coupling power can also be used on echoes. There is also the "Reverse Coupling" power, which lets Zelda follow the movements of a creature or object. With clever use of Coupling and Reverse Coupling, players can discover hidden paths or find their own ways to overcome obstacles and solve puzzles. Reverse Coupling can also be used to have a rock "follow" Zelda to open up a hidden area, or to connect her to a flying creature and temporarily take it higher.
Features:Features:
Echoes: Tri's wand allows Zelda to create echoes. Zelda can use these imitations of things in her environment to solve puzzles, or combine them to solve problems in creative ways. For example, she can use water blocks to reach new heights, place beds to form bridges, throw rocks at enemies, and more. She can even place echoes of monsters, who will then fight for her.
Coupling and Reverse Coupling:When echoes come up short, Zelda can use the special 'coupling' power, which causes objects to follow her movements. There is also the 'reverse coupling' power, which causes Zelda to follow an object's movements. Using these abilities, players can overcome obstacles and crack puzzles in various ways.
Abandoned World:To find the people swallowed up by the cracks, Zelda and Tri enter the abandoned world - a strange, distorted landscape. Each entrance leads to a completely different location, where they can even find dungeons with dangerous enemies and bosses.
Swordsman form:While exploring the desolate world, Zelda finds a mysterious sword that allows her to temporarily assume swordsman form to fight enemies directly. With this mighty power, she can chop down blockades, defeat enemies and fight side by side with echoes.
Automata:Hyrule is populated by many strange characters, some of whom can be of great service to the princess. For example, there is Dampé, a techie who likes to tinker with handy devices called automatons. These strange devices can help Zelda with powerful effects.
In addition to all this, Zelda can also ride horses, there are teleportation points that let Zelda travel through Hyrule even faster, and she can use a logbook to keep track of missions. There are also smoothies with different effects, costumes and accessories that enhance certain abilities, and more.
