PlayStation 4 – Play. Redesigned. SLIMMER, LIGHTER, NEW LOOK. PlayStation 4, the world's best-selling console, now lighter and with a slimmer design. A thorough revision of the internal design architecture of the new PS4 has reduced its dimensions by more than 30% compared to the previous model and its weight by 25% compared to the first model and 16% compared to the current PS4 model. Furthermore, the new PS4 is even more energy-efficient. Power consumption has been reduced by more than 34% and 28% compared to the first model and the current model, respectively. The new PS4 has adopted the chamfered casing design of previous models. The shortened and rounded corners give the console a softer appearance. The glossy PlayStation Family logo in the center of the top surface completes the new and elegant design. (Manufacturer information)
