AVM FRITZ!Box 7690 International Wi-Fi router

Leading next-generation performance – the new FRITZ!Box with Wi-Fi 7
The FRITZ!Box 7690 pushes the boundaries on the DSL connection. With innovative Wi-Fi 7, the FRITZ!Box 7690 provides Wi-Fi connections with data rates of up to 7136 Mbit/s. Thanks to the advanced technology, even more users can use the home network simultaneously. The 2.5 Gbit WAN/LAN port, 2.5 Gbit/s LAN port, and the two Gigabit LAN ports ensure even faster connections for network devices to the home network. Furthermore, the FRITZ!Box 7690 offers extensions in the area of smart home: by integrating Zigbee, smart home devices can now be seamlessly integrated into the home network. The FRITZ!OS operating system ensures that these devices are paired and controlled without problems. In addition, the highest security standards (WPA3/WPA2) ensure increased security.

The new wireless generation Wi-Fi 7
The FRITZ!Box 7690 brings the fast wireless speeds of Wi-Fi 7
to the DSL connection. The new Wi-Fi 7 standard offers all the advantages on the already used 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands and ensures powerful Mesh Wi-Fi. The combination of low latency and high throughput ensures powerful wireless communication for future real-time applications such as virtual reality, cloud computing, and gaming. Current applications also benefit from faster connections – even at greater distances and for many mobile devices.

Smart home integration: efficient & flexible
Via the FRITZ!Box 7690, Zigbee LED lamps and DECT ULE lamps from various manufacturers can be effortlessly integrated into the FRITZ!Box's smart home and controlled via an app. The integration of Matter, the new IP-based smart home standard, is planned. This allows smart home apps from other manufacturers to control FRITZ! smart devices centrally in their app. Smart home devices such as the FRITZ!DECT 302/301 radiator thermostats, the FRITZ!DECT 200/210 smart plugs, the FRITZ!DECT 440 switch, or the FRITZ!DECT 500 LED lamp are controlled via the integrated DECT base.

Convenience and versatile multimedia functions
The integrated telephone system allows an analog phone and up to six wireless DECT phones (e.g., FRITZ!Fon) to be registered. Five integrated answering machines, local and online phonebooks, and a wealth of convenience features complete the extensive offering. The media server streams movies, music, and photos within the home network. Additionally, the FRITZ!Box 7690 has further connection options such as a 2.5 Gbit WAN/LAN port, a 2.5 Gbit/s LAN port, and four Gigabit LAN ports. This allows network devices such as printers and storage media to be easily integrated into the home network.
