Weather Underground weather station with app

The WS-5500 weather station shares and compares your weather data with that of Weather Underground. Weather Underground is one of the largest and best known providers of real-time weather information. You may know them from the weather website wunderground.com or one of the many apps that allow you to read weather forecasts from weather stations around the world - more than 200 thousand at present. With the WS-5500, you now add an additional weather station of your own to Weather Underground's network. So you can not only take your own weather measurements with it, but also access those of others.

Professional weather measurements

The measuring unit of the WS-5500 has a large number of sensors on board to measure all possible weather factors. So you always have insight into UV and solar radiation, humidity, wind speed and wind direction, air pressure, outdoor temperature, wind chill and precipitation. You place the measuring unit outside and do not have to worry about it. A solar cell supplies the sensors with the necessary power. All data is transmitted wirelessly to your weather station over a distance of up to 100 meters. On the large color screen included in the delivery you can read all measurement data and compare them with those of others.

Your own app

But you are not dependent on the color screen. Via the WunderStation app, you can access your own weather data and statistics from anywhere in the world. And, just like on your weather station, you can analyze, share and compare your data with data from all other Weather Underground weather stations. In the app, you design your own dashboards, to make your weather report as personal and relevant as possible.
