This professional weather station is equipped with a rain gauge for measuring precipitation. If desired, you can set a number of alarms for maximum and minimum values in temperature, humidity, and precipitation. The weather station has a memory with the lowest and highest measured values.

Wifi weather station with app

The Alecto WS5200 connects to your own WiFi network. You then link this weather station to one of the many online weather platforms, such as Weather Underground (Wunderground), ECOWITT, Weather Cloud, WOW, and WS View plus. With the WS5200, you can now add your own weather station to these networks. You can not only take your own weather measurements, but you also get access to those of others.

The data from all connected weather stations worldwide is used for reliable local weather forecasts. For example, Weather Underground alone has over 250,000 connected weather stations. Due to the internet connection, date and time are always synchronized correctly. Furthermore, it is also possible to stay updated with the latest firmware.

Indoor unit with clear display and display lighting

In addition to the app, you also have the clear 4.9” display (diameter 12.5 cm), where you can clearly read not only the measured values but also certain historical data. The screen has display lighting, making it perfectly readable in the dark. In addition to weather conditions and forecasts, the Alecto WS-5200 also displays date and time. Use the weather station on your bedside table, a dresser, or hang it easily on the wall.

Advanced wireless outdoor unit

The outdoor unit is equipped with most sensors and should be placed outdoors, preferably in an open area, so that the sensors are not obstructed by the surroundings. For example, do not place the unit next to a wall, as this can affect wind speed, wind direction, and temperature, among other things. The outdoor sensor wirelessly shares the registered data with your indoor unit and the app, which can be accessed on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. The range of the wireless outdoor sensor is 30 meters, although this will be greater in open fields and without obstacles.
