The inner bowl must be placed in a freezer at -18 °C or lower for at least 12 hours before use.

Make ice cream yourself at home

Before use, place the inner bowl in the freezer for at least 12 hours at a temperature of -18 °C or lower. Then, prepare the ice cream or sorbet mixture and let it cool in the refrigerator beforehand. Only remove the frozen inner bowl from the freezer when you are ready to make ice cream. Turn on the ice cream maker before adding the mixture and let the machine run until the desired consistency is reached. This can take approximately 20 to 40 minutes, depending on the recipe and desired consistency. After preparation, the ice cream will have a soft, scoopable consistency and can be further firmed up in the freezer if desired.

The inner bowl has a capacity of 2 liters, and the removable stirring paddle makes it easier to clean the machine after use. The parts should be cleaned by hand and are not dishwasher safe. The stainless steel housing gives the ice cream maker a modern look.

LED display with timer and automatic shut-off

The alpina ice cream maker features an LED display with touch control. The running time can be set from 5 to 45 minutes, and the remaining time counts down on the display. Additionally, the machine has an automatic shut-off and overheat protection. If the ice cream mixture becomes too thick, the motor can automatically reverse its direction of rotation.
