Reliable fire protection for every home: the Aroha Safety Pro Smoke Detector offers 10 years of worry-free protection with a built-in lithium battery and advanced photoelectric sensors. Installed in less than 1 minute, hassle-free.

10 years of safety

  • 10-year battery: Worry-free operation thanks to the non-replaceable lithium battery that provides 10 years of uninterrupted fire protection.
  • Advanced photoelectric sensors: These innovative sensors detect smoke from slow-smoldering fires, such as those from electrical wiring, faster and more effectively than traditional sensors.
  • CE-certified (EN14604): Fully tested and approved according to the highest European safety standards.
  • Loud 85 dB alarm: The fire alarm sounds within 10 seconds. A house fire can spread in just 3 minutes, so quick action is crucial.
  • Modern design with standby LED: Stylish design with a standby LED that flashes once per minute to confirm the detector is active.
  • Smart self-test: The autonomous smoke detector performs an automatic self-test every minute, ensuring you always have reliable protection.

Convenience & Simplicity

  • Easy installation: Installed in less than 1 minute. Installation is effortless with clear step-by-step instructions, accompanying videos, and an included screw set.
  • User-friendly design: The entire front of the detector acts as a test and mute/silence button; easy to operate, even with a broomstick.
  • Ideal for hard-to-reach locations: The test and silence button can be pressed with a broomstick, so you don't have to climb a ladder.

Where to place your smoke detector?

In the Netherlands, it is legally required to have a smoke detector on every living floor and in enclosed spaces through which an escape route passes.

In addition to meeting legal obligations, we advise you to optimize fire safety in your home by installing smoke detectors in strategic locations:

  • Escape routes: Install smoke detectors in hallways and near stairs, especially if they lead to bedrooms. This way, smoke is detected quickly and you can react in time.
  • Bedrooms: Install smoke detectors in or near bedrooms so the alarm can also alert residents at night.
  • Living rooms: A smoke detector in the living room is important, especially if there is a fireplace or other heat sources.
  • Near the kitchen: Do not place a smoke detector directly in the kitchen due to the risk of false alarms from cooking fumes. Place it near the kitchen, or opt for the Aroha Heat Detector for the kitchen itself.
  • To avoid: Bathrooms, garages, and other damp or dusty areas increase the risk of false alarms.

Please note: This Aroha Safety Pro detector is an autonomous detector without WiFi, app, or interlinking. Alternatives are:

  • Aroha Link smoke detectors, heat detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and combination detectors are interlinked, without an app.
  • Aroha Smart Connect smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and combination detectors offer app notifications and control via Tuya Smart or SmartLife, without interlinking.
  • Aroha Smart Connect & Link Smoke Detector has both interlinking and insight via Tuya Smart or SmartLife.
  • Aroha Home smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are compatible with your smart home via Matter over Thread (Home Assistant, Apple, Google, Alexa, etc.).
