Whether you connect a FRITZ!Box, a router from another manufacturer, or a fiber optic modem (ONT): users benefit from all FRITZ! functions. With routers from other manufacturers and fiber optic modems (ONT), the first FRITZ!Repeater 1700 is connected via a LAN cable and acts as the mesh central. In combination with a FRITZ!Box, the connection is established wirelessly with one push of a button.

Easy installation via the smart MyFRITZ!App

Commissioning the FRITZ!Mesh Set is conveniently done via smartphone with the MyFRITZ!App. The app connects (via QR code) the smartphone via WLAN to the FRITZ!Repeater, handles the login automatically, and guides you comfortably through the installation. Afterwards, the app provides an overview of the mesh network and connected devices, including additional comfort functions. The LAN port allows the integration of other network devices, and repeaters can also be connected to each other via LAN.
