The FRITZ!Powerline 1260 WLAN Set turns any power outlet into a fast and secure Gigabit network connection. With Gigabit Powerline up to 1,200 Mbit/s and the latest 2x2 MIMO technology, significantly more robust connections, greater ranges, and higher data transfer rates are achieved. In addition, the device duo forms a WLAN AC+N access point with up to 1266 Mbit/s for the wireless connection of smartphones, tablets, and notebooks to the home network. This allows the set to enable broadband applications with the highest demands, even in the furthest corner of the house or apartment.

Gigabit-class Powerline

The FRITZ!Powerline 1260 WLAN Set reliably connects network-compatible devices such as computers, televisions, or game consoles via ultra-fast Gigabit LAN, even over long distances within the home network. Networking via the power grid overcomes long distances and obstacles such as walls and ceilings with ease. Compared to Powerline adapters from the 500 and 200 Mbit/s classes, FRITZ!Powerline 1260 offers significantly more transmission capacity and more robust connections – with high energy efficiency. Multiple demanding broadband applications can thus be used simultaneously.

Fast WLAN AC+N

The FRITZ!Powerline 1260 adapter in the set expands the WLAN in the home network at Gigabit speed. The WLAN can thus be conveniently, securely, and flexibly offered via Powerline, even in rooms far from the router. The set is prepared for WLAN Mesh from an installed FRITZ!Box. With maximum security via WPA2 encryption, easy pairing of WLAN devices via WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), and data rates of up to 866 Mbit/s (WLAN AC) + 400 Mbit/s (WLAN N), the FRITZ!Powerline 1260 WLAN Set offers a great deal of comfort and flexibility for wireless surfing.

Powerful 2x2 MIMO technology

The FRITZ!Powerline 1260 WLAN Set is ideal for broadband-intensive network applications, such as transferring HD videos (including in 3D) and fast internet access, online gaming, web TV, NAS connection, and video on demand. Even long distances between devices do not affect the quality of the transmission. The 2x2 MIMO technology enables up to 60% greater range in the power grid thanks to the simultaneous use of two conductor pairs. If both conductor pairs cannot be used simultaneously, the automatic selection of the better transmitting conductor pair (Diversity) ensures robust Powerline transmission.

Simple and secure from the factory

A notable feature of FRITZ!Powerline products is the individually pre-set encryption from the factory, which enables immediate, secure commissioning. As soon as FRITZ!Powerline is plugged into the respective power outlets and connected to the FRITZ!Box and the devices to be paired via a LAN cable, the Powerline network is established with individual AES 128-bit encryption (Plug & Play). The FRITZ!Powerline 1260 WLAN Set is compatible with active devices from the 1,200, 500 and 200 Mbit/s classes. Updates are easily performed via the FRITZ!Powerline program or the FRITZ!Box user interface.
