Simple and fast navigation via touchscreen or multifunctional knobs

Find and personalize the desired stitch and optimize thread tension using the 5-inch color touchscreen, placed in the center of the machine for added convenience. Or change the stitch length or width while sewing using the multifunctional knobs. Consult the sewing guide for advice on the best stitch for your chosen fabric.

Plenty of light and space for your sewing projects

Keep things visible with the four bright LED lights that illuminate the large 230 mm sewing surface to the right of the needle. The free-arm extension table provides extra space and comfort for large sewing or quilting projects.

Even feeding of any material

The integrated dual feed can be activated with a single lever and ensures even feeding of any material, both from above and below. Ideal for sewing multiple layers or smooth and delicate materials; layers will no longer slip, and seams will remain free of puckering.

Tie-off function and automatic thread cutter

With the automatic tie-off function, you no longer need to sew backward to secure the seam. Simply press the tie-off button, and the seam will be secured at the end. Then press the automatic thread cutter button, the threads will be cut, and the seam is finished! Want to speed up this process even more? Program these functions onto your foot pedal with the back-kick function: one tap with your heel is all it takes!

More comfortable sewing

With the semi-automatic threader, threading a needle is a breeze: the presser foot is automatically lowered to the correct position, and the thread can be secured in the threader. The knee lever for raising and lowering the presser foot makes sewing even more comfortable, as your hands are free to guide the fabric.

Decorate fabrics with decorative and quilting stitches

Of course, you can use the straight stitch, zigzag stitch, or stretch stitches on the b77, sew t-shirts with stretch fabric, and choose from no fewer than 17 buttonholes. However, the machine offers much more than just practical stitches: create beautiful decorations with 133 decorative and 35 quilting stitches. Your individual stitch settings are temporarily saved; additionally, you can save them to your personal memory for future projects.

The right sewing foot for every application

Your bernette 77 comes with eight sewing feet. You can select the appropriate sewing foot depending on the fabric or project. For example, you can choose the zigzag foot for zigzag stitches, the embroidery foot for decorative stitches, and the automatic buttonhole sewing foot for buttonholes. With the right sewing foot, you can complete any sewing project quickly and with excellent stitch quality. The handy sewing foot indicator on the touchscreen shows the correct sewing foot for the selected stitch.
