Buffered parking recordings

Motion detection: records 1 minute when motion is detected.
Timelapse: records continuously at 1 frame per second; 30 minutes of video is compressed into a 1-minute recording.

Energy-saving parking mode

In this mode, the dashcam minimizes power consumption by going into standby. Upon shock detection, it immediately wakes up and after 1 minute of recording, it automatically switches back to standby mode.

This provides up to several weeks of standby monitoring when the dashcam is directly connected to a car battery, and even up to several months when used in combination with the BlackVue Ultra Battery B-130A.

Experience the 12-bit color tones in detail with a more efficient storage method thanks to the new H.265 video compression.

The 12-bit sensor captures over 68 billion colors for maximum detail. This information is processed into sharp 8-bit video with efficient storage.

With H.265 High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), video files are stored even more efficiently without loss of image quality. This means the file size of a BlackVue 4K recording is approximately the same as a Full-HD recording in H.264.
