Maneater is a single player action-RPG set in the unforgiving waters of the Gulf Coast. Fight for survival in the open ocean, swamps and rivers with danger lurking at every depth. Immerse yourself in a living, breathing world full of threats and rewards. Explore sunken wrecks, prowl through swamps or simply cruise the open ocean looking for prey to feed on. Your only tools are your wits, jaws and an uncanny ability to evolve as you feed. Just about anything is on the menu ... kill or be killed.
Maneater features a full-story campaign that follows the shark as it seeks revenge for the murder of its mother by "Scaly" Pete. The seas are not big enough for both of them as they head toward an epic confrontation. "Scaly" Pete is a fisherman raised on stories of how his father was killed by a great white shark. Sharks gave his father no mercy, he shows the beasts no mercy in return, hunting them everywhere.
