Whereas you can clean different floors and surfaces hygienically with the steam mop, you can use the hand steamer for cleaning and freshening up furniture. Thanks to the flexible handle of the steamer, you can also easily get under sofas and chairs with the steam cleaner. 

Different attachments

In addition to the floor brush, the Dirt Devil steam cleaner comes with three attachments: a small curved nozzle, a point jet nozzle and a brush nozzle. These nozzles are intended for use on the handheld steam cleaner. The point jet nozzle and the curved nozzle are perfect for use in narrow corners and otherwise hard-to-reach areas. Because both nozzles are relatively small, the steam pressure is increased. This makes both nozzles good to use on small and often heavily soiled areas such as the rims of your car. You can also use the brush nozzle in a variety of ways. Think of cleaning ovens, grouting and bathtubs, but also sinks or stains carpet and curtains.

Suitable for different floor types 

Dirt Devil's steam cleaner is designed for cleaning hard floor surfaces that can withstand high temperatures. In addition, you can also use the floor steamer to freshen up carpets. Do not use the Dirt Devil steam mop on leather, wax-polished furniture/floors, synthetic fabrics, unsealed or untreated wood floors and steam-sensitive materials. Before getting started with the Dirt Devil steam mop, it is important to sweep or vacuum the floor first so that sharp objects that could damage the mop are removed. On vinyl or linoleum floors, treat heavy or stubborn stains with mild detergent beforehand. On carpet and soft floor types use the included carpet glide, remove it when cleaning hard floors. 

Ready to use 

The Dirt Devil steam mop has an integrated water tank. This water tank is located at the bottom of the main body of the steam mop. To use the steam mop, add water to the water tank with a maximum capacity of 330 milliliters, preferably distilled or demineralized water instead of tap water.  Then turn on the steam mop and wait until the indicator light stops flashing. This takes up to 30 seconds. Then press the steam button to select the desired steam level. With a full water tank, you can use the floor steamer for 15 minutes at a time.

Wide range and IPX4 certified 

The steam cleaner has a 5-meter power cord. This gives the steam mop a maximum range of 5.5 meters. This means that you can use the steam mop on large areas without having to change sockets. By removing the steam mop's bendable handle, you turn the device into a handheld steamer in no time. Finally, Dirt Devil's steam cleaner is IPX4 certified. This means that the mechanism of the steam mop is resistant to splashing water from different directions.
