Did you know that coffee consists of 98% water? Eccellente water filters for DeLonghi (DLSC002) remove unwanted substances such as chlorine, lead, and copper, allowing every coffee bean blend to come into its own. Additionally, the filters reduce limescale and keep the water tank more hygienic.

Easy to install water filters

Remove the old filter and hold the new filter upside down under running water for 10 seconds.

Place the filter in the water tank and fill with water.

Dispense two cups of hot water to rinse the filter.

Then you are ready to use.

Descaling De’Longhi in 3 steps (quick & simple)

Step 1 – Fill
Remove the tank, remove the water filter, empty it. Add 100 ml of descaler + top up with water to MAX. Place a container under the spout and steam wand.

Step 2 – Start
Press and hold the descaling light for 3–5 seconds. Turn the steam knob from 0 to 1. Let the program run (most liquid will come out of the steam wand).

Step 3 – Rinse
When the "empty" notification appears: turn the steam knob from 1 to 0, empty the container. Rinse the tank, fill with clean water, replace it. Put the container back and turn the steam knob from 0 to 1 to rinse.
Tip: repeat the rinsing process one more time for extra certainty.
