By regularly cleaning your coffee machine, descaling, replacing the water filter in time, and keeping the milk system clean, the machine will continue to function optimally. Furthermore, good maintenance helps prevent malfunctions, supports optimal performance, and extends the lifespan of your fully automatic espresso machine.

Maintenance instructions for Philips LatteGo coffee machines

Below you will find a brief explanation for using the various maintenance products for your Philips LatteGo coffee machine.

Eccellente Milk System Cleaner

Use 10 ml of Eccellente Milk System Cleaner. Pour this into a milk jug or measuring cup and add approximately 300 ml of warm water. Let parts that come into contact with milk soak for 15 to 30 minutes. Then rinse the parts with clean water.

Eccellente Water Filters for Philips AquaClean

Remove the old filter and hold the new water filter upside down under the tap for about half a minute to allow air bubbles to escape. Then place the filter in the water reservoir and fill it with water.

Eccellente Cleaning Tablets

Place one Eccellente cleaning tablet in the designated compartment of your coffee machine and start the cleaning program. The tablet helps remove coffee oils and residues for optimal operation and coffee taste.

Eccellente Silicone Grease

Remove the brew group from your espresso machine, rinse it thoroughly with water, and let all parts dry well. Then apply a thin layer of silicone grease to the sealing rings and distribute it evenly before reinserting the brew group.
