How often should you lubricate the Siemens brew group?

We recommend lubricating the brew group of your Siemens coffee machine approximately once a month. During maintenance, also check the O-rings for wear, dryness, deformation, or damage. Replace damaged or worn O-rings in time. Additionally, we recommend replacing the O-rings preventatively every year.

How to use silicone grease and O-rings for a Siemens brew group?

1. Remove the brew group from the coffee machine. Turn off the coffee machine and remove the detachable brew group through the service door.
2. Clean the brew group. Rinse the brew group with lukewarm water and remove any remaining coffee grounds. Then, let the brew group dry thoroughly.
3. Check the O-rings. Inspect the seals for wear, dryness, deformation, and damage.
4. Replace worn O-rings. Replace the large and/or small O-ring if it is worn or damaged.
5. Lubricate the O-rings and moving parts. Apply a thin layer of silicone grease to the O-rings and the designated moving parts of the brew group.
6. Reinsert the brew group. Gently move the lubricated parts to distribute the silicone grease and then correctly reinsert the brew group into the coffee machine.
