LOW-PASS FILTER

The T5 reproduces tones that are too deep for distortion-free playback of the connected speakers. This allows you to enjoy deep bass down to 38 Hz.

ADJUSTABLE

The bass volume and frequency response can be easily adjusted with rotary knobs on the back. This allows the frequency at which the subwoofer takes over playback to be set individually and to match the different speakers.

With the EDIFIER T5 subwoofer with 70W RMS output power, the frequency spectra of existing bookshelf speaker sets can be significantly extended in the low-frequency range. The active subwoofer can reproduce frequency ranges from 38 Hz to approximately 200 Hz.

The subwoofer is equipped with a low-pass filter. The frequency range above which the subwoofer should take over the playback of the connected speakers can be precisely set to the desired frequency via a rotary knob on the back of the subwoofer. The bass intensity can also be adjusted with a separate control.

The subwoofer features a front-mounted 22 cm (8 inch) woofer and produces powerful and precise bass. It is supported by a side-mounted bass reflex channel. The large cabinet made of real wood (MDF) minimizes unwanted resonances, further contributing to the excellent sound quality.

The T5 subwoofer has an Auto-Standby function that automatically puts the subwoofer into standby mode during prolonged inactivity, to prevent unnecessary power consumption.
