The EV2740S offers all the features for a razor-sharp, brilliant, and flicker-free display. With its 4K UHD resolution, it displays four times more information than the standard Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080). Users can therefore see more information simultaneously on the 27-inch screen and thus need to scroll less or switch between hidden windows. Although 4K monitors typically consume more power due to their higher resolution and larger screen size, the EV2740S excels with a typical power consumption of just 12 watts. This helps companies reduce their energy costs and minimize their ecological footprint. Like all EIZO 4K monitors, the EV2740S is equipped with a USB-C connection. This transmits the video signal, provides access to the monitor's USB hub with four ports for peripherals, and delivers up to 70 watts of power – all with just one cable between the notebook and the screen. In Picture-by-Picture (PbyP) mode, the monitor displays images from two signal sources side-by-side. The EV2740S is certified according to comprehensive, global sustainability standards, including TCO Certified generation 10 and the ENERGY STAR® label. The EPEAT Gold, the highest level, and EPEAT Climate+ awards underscore EIZO's commitment to sustainability.
