Average cost per page based on Epson calculations and the average number of ink cartridges needed to print the same number of pages as with the Epson EcoTank “101”, “102”, “103” and “104” ink bottles. Comparison between the average yield (A4 prints according to ISO/IEC 24712 test pattern) of the EcoTank “101”, “102”, “103” and “104” ink bottle seal series and the original consumables (IDC, Hardcopy Peripherals Consumables Tracker, shipments 2023, published in Q1 2024) used in the 40 best-selling A4 inkjet printers for consumers in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom (IDC, Quarterly Hardcopy Peripherals Tracker, shipments 2023, published in Q1 2024). The cost per page is calculated by dividing the respective sales revenue of bottles/cartridges by the yield of the sold unit.

Print up to XXX pages

The stated yield is calculated based on an original Epson method from a print simulation for test patterns according to ISO/IEC 24712 or 29103. The stated yield is NOT measured according to ISO/IEC 24711 or 29102. The actual yield depends on the printed documents, the paper type, the print frequency and environmental conditions such as temperature. A certain amount of ink is used to fill the system during the initial setup of the printer. Therefore, the yield of the first supplied ink set is lower.

Print up to XXX photos

The stated yield (photos) of the ink bottles is calculated based on an original Epson method for patterns according to ISO/IEC 29103 for printing photos in the 10x15 cm format and NOT according to ISO/IEC 29102. The actual yield depends on the printed documents, the paper type, the print frequency and environmental conditions such as temperature. A certain amount of ink is used to fill the system during the initial setup of the printer. Therefore, the yield of the first supplied ink set may be lower.
