By the way, all notifications and settings are easily managed in the eufy Security app. Monitor live images, talk to the people at your door thanks to two-way audio, set default responses or link Alexa or the Google Assistant for extra convenience.

Want to save footage? The chime comes with an 8GB micro-SD card, which you can replace with a micro-SD card of up to 128g. In addition, the E340 doorbell can be linked to a HomeBase 3 (sold separately) for up to 16 TB of storage. Images are thus stored locally and encrypted to ensure your privacy. You don't need a subscription for this.

Also very convenient: the doorbell has a battery and can also be wired. So go for the installation option you like best. If you choose to install your doorbell wirelessly, the battery can last up to 6 months (with ten recordings per day of 20 seconds each). You can easily remove and recharge the battery.
