Modern communication with maximum flexibility

Despite its reduced design, the new Gigaset ION ensures smooth and equally comfortable communication as in the office. It is the perfect alternative for users who prefer a hands-free handset over a headset for calls and conferences. At the same time, you benefit from the advantages of a modern DECT handset: HD audio quality, hands-free function, plug & play installation, and a microphone optimized for noise reduction.

Automatic switching of audio mode

Call as you wish: with the integrated proximity sensor, the Gigaset ION detects which audio mode is required. The phone switches automatically, even during active calls, for example from hands-free mode to handset mode when the device is picked up from the base station and held to the ear. Thanks to the encrypted DECT connection, there is no longer any risk regarding data protection, and no confidential information is disclosed.

Flexibility thanks to compatibility

The Gigaset ION can be used as an audio output device for almost all softphones and UC clients with Linux, Windows, or Mac OS. You benefit from optimal flexibility through the USB port. The Gigaset DECT STICK also enables use from any desk phone, provided it has a USB port (e.g., for headsets). Standard USB drivers are used for plug & play installation.
