Are you not feeling quite fit and want to know if you have a fever or elevation? Or does your child look a little sick? With this infrared forehead and ear thermometer from Grundig, you can see what your body temperature is in just 1 second. The thermometer is suitable for adults, children and babies. You can even use it for temperature measurement of objects. In addition, this fever thermometer has all kinds of handy functions.

Ear or forehead via infrared

Measuring temperature is very easy via infrared. Simply point the device's sensor at the surface to be measured. As desired, use this thermometer as an ear thermometer in your ear canal or as a forehead thermometer. Switch between these 2 modes by removing or inserting the measuring cap for the forehead temperature. The LCD display shows with an ear or head sign which measurement mode you are using.

Accurate and reliable

The thermometer measures quickly and with a wide temperature range of 32.0°C to 43.0°C. If desired, you can also convert the measurement unit very easily to Fahrenheit (measuring range 89.6°F - 109.4°F). You do that with a button on the side. If the measured temperature goes out of range, the thermometer displays a message 'Lo' (low) or 'Hi' (high). With the message 'Err' (error) you can see if something goes wrong while measuring. NOTE: The thermometer measures with a margin of up to 1°C. Therefore, it is possible that the measurement deviates by 1°C. 

Color coding and sound

In addition to very fast, digital display of your body temperature, this thermometer additionally has a special three-color backlight that highlights the temperature range. Below 37.5°C, the LCD lights up green, between 37.5°C and 38°C, the screen turns orange to indicate elevation, and if the temperature is above 38°C, the color code is red. With the green color, 1 long beep also sounds. If the screen colors orange or red, you will hear 3 short beeps. Prefer no sound? You can also turn off the beep.

Useful extras

In memory mode, the thermometer stores the last temperature readings. It can remember a total of 32 readings. While measuring, an indicator light turns green to show that you have activated the device. To save energy, the thermometer turns itself off automatically after about a minute. Are the batteries low? Then you get a notification. You can also set it to different modes for children and adults for a more specific measurement result.
