The adapter is suitable for use with Chromebook Pixel 2015, Acer Switch Alpha 12, Dell XPS 13, HP EliteBook Folio G1 and other devices with a USB-C connector. On Apple notebooks, only one monitor can be connected; no USB-C adapter supports the connection of 2 monitors under Mac OS, only a Thunderbolt-3 adapter can do this.

Using the "Extend" and "Mirror" modes, you can, for example, work with wide tables displayed across 2 screens, work on one screen and browse the internet for information on the other, compare multiple documents simultaneously without having to switch between different open windows, display panoramic images on two screens, view graphs and current data simultaneously, show multiple presentations at once without needing an extra computer, etc. Usage is very simple; the adapter only needs to be connected to a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port of the computer, connected to the display via an HDMI cable, and it can be used immediately. The drivers are automatically installed by the system.

Carefully check device compatibility to see if it matches the operational requirements of the i-tec product concerned, in particular the video output (Display Port Alt Mode Profile) and, if applicable, the charging function (Power Delivery).
