Air purification function

If you turn on the air purification control, the extractor hood will turn on at the lowest speed every 10 minutes. This keeps the air in the kitchen wonderfully clean all day long. The function switches off automatically after 24 hours.

Automatic air sensor

The extractor hood is equipped with a handy air sensor function. If you switch this on, the appliance will switch on automatically as soon as the temperature or humidity near the extractor hood rises. This also happens if the sensor detects VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).

BLDC motor

The AKB9015ZWA has a BLDC motor, also called a brushless motor. This type of motor is faster and more powerful than a motor with brushes. The biggest advantage is that the BLDC motor is a lot quieter and that is nice for an extractor hood, especially in an open kitchen.

5-layer filter

This extractor hood has 5-layer aluminum cassette filters, also called grease filters. They absorb grease and moisture particles that are released during cooking. For the best performance, clean the filters regularly with soapy water or in the dishwasher at a low temperature.
