The wireless mini receiver, in a 6.3mm jack plug, can be plugged directly into the microphone input and is powered by 1 AA battery. No extra cables or adapters are needed. Both microphones are powered by 2 AA batteries and have an on/off switch. The set comes with AA batteries and works for at least 6 hours non-stop when fully charged. The wireless microphones operate on fixed frequencies of 863.5 & 864.5 Mhz.
