HERO is a new, revolutionary optical sensor designed by Logitech G that delivers the best performance and is up to 10 times more energy efficient (compared to the previous generation). The HERO sensor delivers exceptionally accurate and consistent performance, without any delay, filtering or acceleration, from 200 to 12,000 dpi. G305 can store up to 5 profiles in its built-in memory, with up to 5 dpi levels each.

The HERO sensor and wireless LIGHTSPEED provide extreme efficiency, allowing you to game for months at a time. A single AA battery can last up to 250 hours. In Endurance mode, this equals 9 months of use. This is selectable through the Logitech Gaming Software. Logitech Gaming Software and the status light on the G305, let you know when the battery has 15% capacity left.

6 program more buttons
The G305's primary switches, both left and right, last up to 10 million clicks. In addition, the G305 features a center click, dpi button and two side buttons that can be programmed as desired with the Logitech Gaming Software (LGS).

Mechanical button tensioning system
Mechanical springs with separate buttons improve the consistency of the left and right mouse buttons and reduce the force required to click. The result is tight, reliable buttons you can rely on during even the most intense gaming sessions.
