Instructions for use

1] Always ensure your hair is clean and dry before using the curling iron.

2] Make sure there is no water on the floor or other surfaces near the power outlet or the curling iron.

3] Plug the curling iron into the power outlet. The curling iron may have a polarized plug, where one pin is wider than the other. In that case, the plug will only fit into the power outlet when inserted correctly. If the plug does not fit, make sure you insert the wider pin into the correct slot. If you cannot connect the plug easily, contact an electrician. Never force the plug into the power outlet.

4] Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button at the top of the curling iron until the temperature appears on the screen. The styling device will start to heat up immediately, but it will take approximately 40 seconds to achieve optimal and even heat distribution.

5] Once the curling iron has reached the desired temperature, you can set the temperature using the +/- button at the top of the styling device. The most commonly used temperature is 180 degrees, but this depends on the hair type.

6] Put on the included heat-resistant gloves. Avoid contact between the cylinder and your skin when the styling device is in the "ON" position. The cylinder gets hot and can cause burns. Also, be careful with your ears when rotating or moving the curling iron.

7] Part your hair and, for long hair, start with the bottom strands at the back of your head. Place the curling iron at the beginning of a strand and wrap it around the curling iron. As a guideline: turning inwards creates more curls, while turning outwards creates more volume. Ensure the hair lies flat on the cylinder. Then, wrap the rest of the strand around the cylinder. This way, the hair is evenly distributed, heat is evenly spread through the hair, and each part of the strand gets the right shape. Heat the strand for 3 seconds, then let it fall into your palm and let it cool for 3 seconds before releasing it. Cooling is an important step for long-lasting curls. Always start at the bottom and then grab a higher strand. The closer the curling iron gets to the hair roots, the more curls you will get in your hair. If you want many curls or waves, start close to the hair roots. Always be careful not to burn your scalp. If you only want curls at shoulder length, twist the curling iron from the middle of the hair lengths.

8] Finished? Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button until the temperature is no longer displayed on the screen. Unplug the curling iron and let the styling device cool down completely on a heat-resistant surface before storing it. Never leave the styling device plugged in or turned on when you are not nearby.
