Sara de Roose is a young, intelligent and ambitious woman. She works at Présence, one of the fastest growing fashion companies in Belgium. Sara has a heart of gold and is an excellent economist, but doesn't exactly have her looks with her. In fact, she is so unattractive that no one sees her. Sara is hopelessly in love with Simon Van Wyck, the director's son.

Présence is in difficult papers and it is often Sara who saves the fashion company from the abyss. Despite all her efforts, Simon does not reciprocate her feelings. Therefore, Sara keeps a diary in which she writes down all her feelings and desires. She keeps dreaming of romance, love and happiness, because she knows : sometimes dreams come true!
