De Luizenmoeder is a comedy series set in an arena that is as unusual as it is everyday and recognizable: elementary school. Life around and around elementary school resembles - more than we suspect - real life in contemporary society, where there are often too many rules or (behavioral) codes, where adults sometimes behave like children and vice versa. With their own playground agreements, traffic and birthday party rules, hierarchies, hang parents, ten-minute meetings and of course ... lice mothers.
