The 360° rotating water spout with alternating direction of rotation ensures precise and even distribution of the hot water. The coffee is thus moistened optimally and in the hitherto unique way.

Let the coffee bloom.
Thanks to the pre-brewing function, the coffee is moistened with hot water
before the actual start of preparation and is then given time to steep. During this process, called Blooming,
the roasting gases escape from the coffee. The coffee extraction is improved and the flavors can fully unfold
.

Different brewing profiles ensure an ideal coffee result for large as well as small preparation quantities. This is made possible by the sensors in the water tank, which measure the amount of water
and automatically adjust the direction and duration of rotation of the 360° water spout. Thus, the coffee is optimally extracted with every preparation quantity.

Outstanding brewing temperature and duration.
Within the shortest possible time, the Melitta® epour® reaches the optimal extraction temperature of 92 to 96 °C and maintains it throughout the entire brewing process.
